Growing up in rural southeastern Wisconsin, I can remember always having a love of nature due to my surroundings,
for in nature one will find perfect design in some of the most colorfully creative ideas imaginable. My grandmother
loved to bake and instilled in me the same passion, all I had to do is combine the two and that was the beginning of
my journey into this business of creating cakes. I began my career working as a pastry chef after graduating from MATC
(Milwaukee) with an associate degree in the culinary arts in 1989. Through the years I have been very passionate about
preparing exquisite deserts and creating one of a kind cakes.In 1997, I started "Elizabeth's Cakes" with the philosophy
of creating deliciously beautiful creative cakes that exceed customer expectations on all levels. After
creating cakes for over 18 years, I continue to learn and grow as an artist every day. That is what is so exciting
about this business, there is an infinite amount of subject matter and the only limit is your imagination! |
